Terms, Conditions & Photography Policies

Thank you for choosing MAAE Snaps, a photography service of MAAE Media.
We believe photography should be an enjoyable, relaxed experience. These policies help establish clear expectations so everyone can focus on what matters most—creating photographs you'll love.
By requesting and confirming a photography session with MAAE Snaps, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
1. Booking & Scheduling
All photography sessions are subject to availability and confirmation by MAAE Media.
Submitting a booking request does not guarantee a particular date or time. Your appointment is considered confirmed once you receive confirmation from MAAE Media.
No deposit is required to book a session.
Session pricing, duration, and any additional charges will be communicated before the appointment is confirmed.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change.
24 hours or more before your appointment: You may cancel or request to reschedule without a cancellation fee.
Less than 24 hours before your appointment: Cancellations are subject to a $60 cancellation fee.
Failure to attend: A no-show may be treated as a cancellation within the 24-hour window and may incur the $60 fee.
Rescheduling is subject to availability.
We understand that unexpected emergencies happen and may waive cancellation fees at our discretion.
To cancel or reschedule, please contact MAAE Media directly by replying to your appointment confirmation or using the contact information provided.
3. Weather & Outdoor Sessions
Outdoor photography sessions are weather permitting.
Rain, severe weather, unsafe conditions, excessive wind, or other environmental factors may require an appointment to be rescheduled.
MAAE Media reserves the right to determine whether conditions are appropriate for a safe and successful session.
Weather-related rescheduling initiated by MAAE Media will not incur a cancellation fee.
Whenever possible, we will work together to identify a suitable alternative date or location.
4. Photography Locations
Clients are welcome to suggest a preferred photography location.
While we make every reasonable effort to accommodate location requests, MAAE Media may recommend an alternative based on lighting, accessibility, safety, travel distance, permit requirements, or overall photographic suitability.
Any applicable travel charges or location-related expenses will be discussed before confirming the appointment.
Clients are responsible for securing any required property permissions or location permits unless other arrangements have been made.
5. Arriving Prepared
Please arrive on time and ready for your session.
Late arrivals may reduce the amount of available photography time, especially when another appointment follows.
For sessions involving children, pets, or larger groups, please allow appropriate preparation time.
Clients are encouraged to communicate any accessibility needs, sensory considerations, or special accommodations before their session so we can make reasonable preparations.
6. Photography & Image Selection
Every finished photograph is included. No image-count limits.
Unlike traditional photography packages that require clients to purchase individual images or select from a limited number of favorites, MAAE Snaps includes all professionally selected and finished photographs from your session.
We do not impose an arbitrary limit on the number of finished photographs delivered.
MAAE Media retains creative discretion regarding composition, lighting, editing, and final image selection.
Test images, duplicates, unflattering expressions, technically unsuitable photographs, and unfinished images are not included in the final gallery.
The number of delivered photographs will vary depending on the session, circumstances, and photographic opportunities.
Original RAW files and unedited images are not included.
7. Editing & Artistic Style
All delivered photographs receive professional processing consistent with MAAE Media's established photographic style.
This may include adjustments to exposure, color, contrast, cropping, and other routine enhancements.
Extensive retouching, major object removal, advanced compositing, or specialized editing may involve an additional charge, which will be discussed before the work is performed.
While we welcome requests and inspiration, exact replication of another photograph, pose, lighting condition, or artistic result cannot be guaranteed.
8. Image Delivery & Online Galleries
Completed photographs are delivered through a secure online gallery.
Your gallery will provide access to:
Full-resolution photographs suitable for printing.
Web-optimized photographs sized for websites, social media, and digital sharing.
Clients may view their finished gallery before downloading their photographs, subject to the features of the selected gallery service.
Gallery availability and delivery timing may vary based on the type and scope of the photography session. Any specific delivery deadline must be agreed upon separately.
Clients are encouraged to download and maintain personal backups of their photographs after delivery. Online galleries are not intended to serve as permanent archival storage.
9. Payment
No deposit or advance payment is required.
Payment is due when your completed photography gallery is ready for delivery.
Clients may review their photographs before payment, where supported by the gallery platform.
Image downloads will become available after payment has been received.
Any additional services or charges must be approved before they are added to the final invoice.
10. Copyright & Image Usage
All photographs created by MAAE Media remain the intellectual property of MAAE Media unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Upon full payment, clients receive a nonexclusive license to download, print, display, and share their delivered photographs for personal use.
Clients may share their photographs on personal websites and social media accounts.
Commercial, advertising, publication, team, organizational, or promotional usage may require additional permissions or a separate licensing agreement depending on the nature of the session.
Photographs may not be sold, sublicensed, or transferred to third parties for commercial use without prior written permission.
11. Privacy & Promotional Use
MAAE Media respects the privacy of its clients and the people photographed.
We will not use identifiable client photographs for public advertising, portfolio promotion, or social media marketing without appropriate permission.
Any authorization to use client photographs for promotional purposes will be handled separately from the standard booking agreement.
Clients are responsible for notifying participants when appropriate and obtaining any permissions required for the uses they request.
12. Safety & Personal Responsibility
The safety of our clients, participants, and photographers is important.
Clients are responsible for supervising children, managing pets, and ensuring that participants follow reasonable safety instructions during their photography session.
MAAE Media may suspend, relocate, or discontinue photography when conditions present an unreasonable safety risk.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, MAAE Media is not responsible for injuries, accidents, loss of personal property, or damages resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control, including unsafe venue conditions, actions of participants or third parties, or unexpected environmental hazards.
Nothing in these policies is intended to exclude or limit liability where doing so is prohibited by law.
13. Equipment Failure & Unforeseen Circumstances
Although reasonable precautions are taken to protect photographic equipment and image files, unforeseen technical problems, equipment failures, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control may occasionally affect a session or its deliverables.
If a significant issue prevents us from fulfilling the agreed photography services, MAAE Media will work with the client toward an appropriate resolution, which may include rescheduling, recreating photographs where practical, or refunding applicable service fees.
14. Changes to These Policies
MAAE Media may update these policies periodically.
The version in effect when an appointment is confirmed will generally apply to that appointment unless both parties agree otherwise or applicable law requires a different result.
